EU and U.S. inch closer to air passenger data deal

BRUSSELS (Reuters) - European lawmakers approved a deal on Tuesday allowing the U.S. government to obtain data on passengers flying to the United States from Europe, a shift in EU resistance to sharing citizens' information with U.S. authorities.
