India - Statue nataraja
Check out these photos Drumming Lessons NYC: India - Statue nataraja Image Cåsbr Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.Probablement the elephant god. I saw this stuff in a Chinese museum also. (OK according to wikipedia, it is in truth a bronze statue of Nataraja Chola, but everyone knows wiki is questionable ...) Hoho in a further research, I conclude that it is: Shiva Lord of the Dance (Nataraja) Chola period (880-1279), about 11 siècleTamil Nadu IndeAlliage copper, H. 26 7/8 inches
